Bibliotherapy with Children

Bibliotherapy is an effective strategy to help students to connect to characters in a book about related issues they may be dealing with.  This strategy will help students developing coping skills and strategies to help them manage their issues.

School Bullies

Studies have shown that childhood bullies grow up to be very abusive.  The biggest risk factor that encourage bullies are their environment.  In order to help bullies change, their behavior must be redirected at an early age. 

Childhood Obesity

Childhood obesity is increasing at a very rapid pace.  Children who show visual signs of obesity should be given help immediately.  Children who are obese can develop a variety of long term illnesses that includes, but not limited to diabetes, high blood pressure, and stroke.
